HIGHLIGHTS:
Keoki retired from Flyball on March 7, 2004, at the age of 9 years.
Keoki still ran at the top of his game, with the same speed, drive, and
enthusiasm as when he began the sport of flyball as a young dog of four
years old. He accumulated so many points in his career he was able to
retain the title of “Ranked # 1 Flyball Pomeranian in North America” the
following year (one year after he retired).
Keoki was the first Pomeranian to earn the titles of FMX, ONYX, AND
FGDCH. He was the first of any of the *Toy Breeds to earn the title of
FGDCH. FGDCH is the highest title in flyball!
The teams Keoki raced on racked up an outstanding 31 first-place wins!
Even though Keoki was a small dog, he ranked in the top 100 dogs
competing in flyball in 2002. This is impressive considering the ranking
included 12,214 dogs of all sizes and all breeds. He ranked #119 in 2001
out of a total of 10,748 dogs. “All sizes and breeds” means Border
Collies, Jack Russells, and many other breeds considered to be the best
in the sport.
