HIGHLIGHTS:
Keoki competed for the last time in agility on November 3, 2007, at the
age of 12 years and 10 months. He finished his career with a total of
2,839 points and 90 Double-Q’s.
He earned a qualifying score on his last run proving he still had the
speed and agility to compete at the top level of the sport.
To the end of his life, he retained his drive, and desire to play and
compete. Only a collapsing trachea, developing late in his
life, kept him from his beloved play.
He gave us more joy, success, and excitement than we ever imagined
possible. He was not only an incredible athlete, but a sweet, loving,
and loyal companion. No words can express what he meant to us. No day
goes by that we do not miss him deeply. The famous Pomeranian breeder,
Olga Baker, called him “a one in a million dog”. No truer words have
ever been spoken.
